About the position

The Senior Software Developer at Leidos is responsible for designing and developing enterprise web applications using the ServiceNow platform. This role involves creating onboarding workflows, dashboards, and web services, as well as developing automation scripts for continuous integration and deployment. The developer will also analyze user needs, design databases, manage websites, and ensure quality assurance for web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise web applications using ServiceNow.
• Create onboarding workflows, dashboards, and web services for enterprise tools.
• Develop automation scripts for CI/CD pipelines using commercial technologies and cloud services.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions accordingly.
• Design and analyze databases within application areas.
• Manage website activities including design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Perform testing and quality assurance of websites and web applications.

Requirements

• 8+ years of full-stack software development experience, including JavaScript and Web Services.
• Current and active TS/SCI w/ Poly security clearance.
• IA Certification: DoD 8570 IAT II.
• BS degree, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Splunk.
• Experience with HTML, AJAX, and GUI design.
• Experience developing in a platform-as-a-service environment (preferably ServiceNow).
• Experience with developing web applications deployed to the cloud (preferably AWS).
• Experience scripting with OO programming languages (Python, Java).
• RESTful API development experience.
• Experience in Agile development methodology.
