About the position

The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining RESTful API endpoints using Node.JS and MongoDB. This role involves working within a Scrum-based agile team and managing all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring effective integration with external partners and internal applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and code RESTful Microservices
• Write code in Node.JS backend and MongoDB
• Perform application builds
• Conduct unit and integration tests
• Troubleshoot bugs in the application
• Research new technologies
• Engage in architecting and designing systems based on business requirements

Requirements

• Excellent programming skills in Node.JS backend and MongoDB
• Good programming skills in .NET, C#, WCF, and Oracle
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and related concepts
• Experience with containers (Docker) and container orchestration (using ECS)
• Experience with Serverless Lambda Functions in AWS
• Strong communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• 10+ years of experience in software development
• 5+ years of experience in developing RESTful Microservices with Node.JS backend and MongoDB
• 3+ years of experience in .NET, C#, WCF, and Oracle development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
