Responsibilities

  • Design and innovate new ideas and technologies.
  • Program and conduct research.
  • Write proposals for projects.
  • Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  • Maintain extensive regular contact with assigned project clients.
  • Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve project issues.
  • Create system and software architectures.
  • Develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
  • Integrate and test large-scale software systems.
  • Build commercial products.
  • Conduct research and development activities.
  • Provide customized consulting services.
  • Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures.
  • Determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
  • Assist in achieving project goals across multiple projects.
  • Interface with various departments.
  • Perform other jobs as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages (Java, C, C++, Perl, Python, etc.).
  • Knowledge of hardware/software interfaces and protocols (low-level device and bus protocols).
  • Experience with Linux kernel or driver projects.
  • Background in systems engineering and reverse engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Self-starter with the ability to drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
