About the position

The Senior Software Developer at Aptos will play a crucial role in designing and developing applications for a cloud-native, mobile-first, and unified commerce services platform. This position is integral to enabling retailers to adapt to market demands across various customer touchpoints, leveraging modern tools and techniques to deliver innovative solutions in the retail sector.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new applications, components, and services for the Aptos ONE platform.
• Collaborate with a scrum team to deliver end-to-end functionality regularly.
• Mentor team members and contribute to their professional growth.
• Work with a technology stack that includes Typescript, JavaScript, React, and React Native.
• Develop applications for retail, high-end transactional systems, and point of sale (POS) systems.
• Integrate with payment providers for credit, debit, and alternate payment methods.
• Design and deliver high-visibility mobile and web applications.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Typescript, JavaScript, React, and React Native.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with ObjectiveC/Swift for iOS and Kotlin/Java for Android development.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in retail, high-end transactional systems, eCommerce, or payment solutions.
