About the position

The Senior Software Development Engineer for AWS Identity & Access Management - Data Plane is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure authentication and authorization solutions for AWS services. This role involves solving complex technical challenges, providing technical leadership, and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring high performance and reliability of the services used by AWS customers.

• Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
