About the position

The Senior Software Development Engineer for AWS Managed Services will play a pivotal role in defining and building innovative AI/GenAI-driven cloud computing solutions for Amazon Web Services customers. This position involves engaging in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from research to ideation, and will focus on architectural design and implementation of impactful AWS product offerings. The role is situated within a fast-paced, agile team that values collaboration and diverse experiences, aiming to drive significant business initiatives and operational scalability.

Responsibilities

• Define and build AI/GenAI-driven cloud computing solutions for AWS customers.
• Engage in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from research to ideation.
• Own the architectural design and implementation of AWS product offerings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and partners on high-visibility projects.
• Drive critical business initiatives to design and build operational scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
