The Ads Targeting team plays a crucial role in optimizing advertisement placement and enhancing the effectiveness of ads for advertisers. As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you will be responsible for designing and building large-scale foundations for data processing and serving next-generation ads targeting products. This includes applying machine learning models to scale budgets by understanding user interests and intentions. The team is engaged in developing various products such as custom audiences, lookalike audiences, and interest-based targeting, alongside innovative features that enhance the advertising experience. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers to define the strategy and features of ads targeting products, utilizing data-driven methods and keeping abreast of industry trends. Your responsibilities will include designing, optimizing, and implementing ads targeting strategies, improving infrastructure design, and maintaining both offline and online ad targeting products. You will also be tasked with extracting, aggregating, and syncing relevant data to generate audience insights, assisting advertisers in discovering the demographics, locations, devices, and interests that comprise their remarketing lists. This position is pivotal in ensuring that TikTok continues to provide a platform that not only inspires creativity but also drives effective advertising solutions for businesses.
