About the position

As a Software Engineer at Amazon Robotics, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to developing innovative robotic solutions for Amazon's Fulfillment Centers. This role involves transforming concepts into production-ready software that addresses complex material handling challenges, utilizing cutting-edge technology in robotics and software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop concept to production-ready solutions for robotic systems.
• Debug and optimize backend and frontend software for automated sensing systems.
• Collaborate with various teams to prototype and deploy robotic systems.
• Lead design and architecture of new and existing systems.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of systems.
• Expert level skills in C++.
• Experience working on software libraries and tools for building robot applications.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with robotic motion control systems and algorithms.
• Experience with robotic operating environments like ROS.
