At ServiceNow, our Software Action Team (SWAT) plays a crucial role in ensuring the production stability of our customer applications and infrastructure services from an operations perspective. As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Automation Tools, you will be responsible for maintaining production stability and acting as a champion at all service levels. This position requires you to be the last line of support for our internal and external customers, ensuring that their needs are met and that any issues are resolved promptly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, particularly within a DevOps environment, where you will develop automations and tools for internal use. Your passion for tackling complex systems under dynamic, real-world loads will be essential in this role. You will thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment that allows you to have a direct influence on the organization and our customers. In this role, you will support the infrastructure by gaining a comprehensive understanding of the platform from end to end. Your responsibilities will include developing automations to proactively ensure the best service for our customers, creating tools to facilitate and improve day-to-day operations, and becoming an expert across ServiceNow's application and database layers. You will also work closely with various groups within Engineering and Operations to identify and resolve performance issues and bugs in production, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.
