As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Back End development at Capital One, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions that address complex business challenges. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions.
- Stay updated on tech trends and experiment with new technologies.
- Mentor other members of the engineering community.
- Work with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, along with various AWS tools and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
