Agtonomy is pioneering advanced automation and AI solutions to transform agriculture and beyond. As we expand into ground maintenance and other industrial applications, our expert team continues to address key challenges with labor shortages, sustainability and profitability across various industries. Join our dynamic team as we push the boundaries of robotics and autonomy technology in Agriculture. As part of the Software Services Team, you will play a crucial role in building and scaling our cloud infrastructure to support APIs, data processing pipelines, & data storage systems. These systems enable reliable connectivity between fleets of vehicles, operators, & user applications to enable a seamless and easy to use experience in the management & execution of autonomous operations in agriculture.

Responsibilities

  • Own the architecture & operations of our cloud infrastructure.
  • Work with engineering teams to plan, implement, and deploy services at scale to support our growing fleet of vehicles, services and customers.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the platform's architecture to meet evolving business needs and ensure high levels of scalability and security.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines to support developers to test & deploy various cloud software systems.
  • Own and manage cloud infrastructure cost and capacity planning.
  • Support vulnerability scanning, pen testing and incident response for all cloud services.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building infrastructure for scalable web services.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (eg, Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation)
  • Deep knowledge of the various service offerings from AWS, GCP, or Azure and understanding of which services are best suited for specific application needs.
  • Experience with Node.js, Serverless services (eg, Lambda, Aurora, Fargate, API Gateway), MySQL/DynamoDB, Containerization (eg, Docker, Fargate, EKS).
  • Experience with building data pipelines & workflow automations using Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or similar.
  • A passion for learning. You fearlessly dive into new and unfamiliar technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building and operating observability stacks (eg, ELK, TICK, Prometheus)
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services and best practices for various service needs.
  • Experience with gRPC and Protobuf.
  • Experience owning a highly available & scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • Understanding of system security and data protection.
