About the position
Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure team is building Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IAAS) technologies that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our customers run their businesses on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with industry leading compute, storage, networking, database, security, and an ever expanding set of foundational cloud-based services. As part of this effort, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's Object Storage Service team is looking for hands-on engineers with a passion for solving problems. You will be working on distributed systems, large scale storage, and highly available services. Responsibilities
- Own the design and development for major components and features of the Object Storage Service.
- Work on distributed systems and large scale storage solutions.
- Collaborate in an agile environment to deliver innovative features.
- Solve complex problems related to cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java and C++ programming languages.
- Passion for software development and problem-solving.
- Experience with distributed systems and large scale storage.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Python programming language.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Cloud Technologies.
