About the position
The Senior Software Engineer position at a growing startup in NYC focuses on full-stack development, particularly in the realms of Web3, DeFi, and privacy protocols. The role is designed for an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to contribute significantly from the outset by building and shipping new features for customer-facing products.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship new features for the customer-facing product.
- Contribute to the development of Web3, DeFi, and privacy protocols.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to enhance product offerings.
- Participate in quick development cycles to deliver impactful solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software development, with at least 1 year in a full-stack capacity.
- Experience with DeFi and/or blockchain technology is highly preferred.
- Startup experience or experience at a FAANG or similar crypto company is highly preferred.
- Cloud experience with AWS or other cloud providers is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Previously held a prominent technical role at an established DeFi project.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in scaling technologies across Web3 and DeFi ecosystems.
- Familiarity with privacy protocols.
