As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in DevOps at Capital One, you will play a crucial role in driving technological transformation and solving complex business problems. This position involves collaborating with Agile teams to design, develop, and implement technical solutions using a variety of full-stack development tools and cloud technologies. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions.
• Stay updated on tech trends and experiment with new technologies.
• Participate in internal and external technology communities and mentor other engineers.
• Work with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
• Utilize programming languages and tools such as Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps Engineering (excluding internship experience).
• At least 2 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• At least 2 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of experience with Terraform or Ansible.
• 2+ years of experience with container orchestration services (Docker, Kubernetes).
• 2+ years of experience with coding and scripting (Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, Ruby).
• 2+ years of experience working with Agile Development Practices.
