About the position
As a Senior Software Engineer at Capital One, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on full-stack development, utilizing a variety of programming languages and cloud technologies. This role emphasizes collaboration within Agile teams to design, develop, and implement innovative technical solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive financial empowerment for millions of Americans.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development.
- Stay updated on tech trends and experiment with new technologies.
- Participate in internal and external technology communities and mentor other engineers.
- Work with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply).
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript, Python, or Scala
- 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
- 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
