The Global Payments team is building a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, such as TikTok, Helo, Games, Education, etc. The Data Compliance & Privacy team in global payments organization protects users on our platform by promoting privacy by design. We design architectures that treat user data respectfully, with transparency, and in line with reasonable practices. Data privacy engineering is a new technological territory that hasn't been well defined in our industry. By joining the team, you will have chances to refine the data privacy framework, use advanced privacy technology, and make a big impact on our community. * Develop and design large-scale data privacy infrastructure to help enforce privacy practices with consistency and efficiency. * Provide technical leadership to the team, and play a key role in driving code and architecture reviews as well as large cross-company privacy reviews of products and features. * Work closely with Security, Privacy, and Product leaders to help define goals that are properly aligned to company-wide goals.
