About the position

The Senior Software Engineer (Java & AI Integration) role is designed for a highly skilled professional with over 10 years of experience in software engineering. This position focuses on leading the integration of AI tools into enterprise systems, particularly emphasizing expertise in Core Java and OCR coding. The engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, develop, and troubleshoot solutions for complex business challenges, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in integrating AI tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with team members and internal users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications adhering to architectural standards and coding best practices.
• Lead the development and evolution of architecture, contributing to system design and scalability.
• Mentor software developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Develop and troubleshoot applications deployed in Azure.
• Perform advanced data manipulation and analysis for decision-making and optimization.
• Keep updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into existing systems when applicable.
• Create, maintain, and review technical documentation to support system understanding and usability.
• Resolve complex technical issues and provide strategic solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Proven track record in working with Core Java and developing enterprise-level applications.
• Experience in AI tool integration, specifically OCR coding and testing.
• Extensive experience with constructing and troubleshooting applications deployed in Azure.
• Proficient in designing and working with complex data models.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
• Strong expertise in Core Java with hands-on coding experience.
• Familiarity with AI and OCR coding/testing.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting and solution development.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud technologies.
• Ability to quickly learn and adopt new languages, tools, and technologies.
• Solid understanding of mathematical principles in computer science.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to dynamic environments.
