About the position

Confiz is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with over 4 years of experience in J2EE technologies. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, bug-free features while effectively communicating with stakeholders and meeting project deadlines. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for creating technical documentation and solving complex problems, contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science.
• At least 4+ years of experience with J2EE (Grizzly, Maven, Jersey, Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools such as Jenkins and writing/maintaining automated functional/integration tests.
• Strong working experience with RESTful Web Services.
• Working experience with Microservices Architecture/Platforms is a big plus.
• A self-motivated learner and builder.
• Working knowledge of Agile Methodologies such as Scrum.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and databases.
• Ability to work with distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
