About The Position
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team at Impinj, where we are building the next generation RAIN RFID platform for a diverse set of applications, including healthcare, logistics, and retail. This role presents fantastic challenges, such as efficient stream processing of large volumes of data, developing complex algorithms to process and extract insights from raw RFID data, and constructing a software stack that can scale from a single reader to a global deployment of readers. Our engineers collaborate across the stack, from tagged items to the cloud, to deliver phenomenal integrated solutions to our customers. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work as part of a team to tackle our hardest challenges and implement innovative, effective solutions. In this position, you will lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of new features for desktop, mobile, and cloud-based applications. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code. Participation in architectural discussions and decision-making processes is also a key aspect of this role. You will be responsible for fixing, debugging, and optimizing our customer applications and client libraries, working closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Additionally, you will maintain and enhance existing software applications, ensuring their stability and reliability.
