About the position
As the Senior Software Engineer (Mobile SDK) - you'll report to Mehul Mittal - our Head of Mobile Engineering (SDK) and spearhead the technical vision and strategy for the SDK organization. Your role involves shaping the technical direction for our mobile SDK, supporting the growth of our core business, and venturing into new product domains. You'll focus on developing core features that boost retention, engagement, and monetization metrics for our most valuable customers. Your main responsibility is to build and deliver a cutting-edge real-time SDK offered to developers by Skillz.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the technical vision and strategy for the SDK organization.
- Shape the technical direction for the mobile SDK.
- Support the growth of the core business and venture into new product domains.
- Develop core features that boost retention, engagement, and monetization metrics.
- Build and deliver a cutting-edge real-time SDK for developers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Software engineering experience.
- Experience in 'React Native' mobile development.
- Proficiency in mobile development for Android and iOS, including maintenance and review, using at least two languages from this list: React Native (JavaScript, TypeScript), Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of building and delivering consumer-facing products and features from scratch.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical field of study, or equivalent industry experience.
