About the position

The Senior Software Engineer for the NSG Radar Ground Project at Peraton is a critical role within the Enterprise Engineering team, responsible for providing systems engineering and integration support for the NGA's Sensor Integration Office. This position requires extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in cloud computing and modern software development practices, to deliver trusted engineering capabilities that enhance national security.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and integration support for NGA's Sensor Integration Office.
• Develop and deliver software products in a cloud-based environment.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture.
• Manage MySQL database operations and client-server interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree, or equivalent experience (4 years without a degree, or 2 years with a non-STEM degree).
• 12+ years of relevant work experience in government or industry.
• Experience in cloud computing, service orientation, containerization, micro-services, API development, or DevSecOps.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, JSP, Hibernate, Tomcat, HTML5, and CSS.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and pass a polygraph.
