About the position

The Senior Software Engineer - QA role involves working on complex projects within a core team in the US. The candidate will be responsible for both manual and automated testing of applications, requiring minimal supervision and a collaborative approach with the development team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare manual testing strategy, design, support, planning, and execution for various applications.
• Implement and extend testing frameworks and add more tests to existing frameworks like pytest, TestNG, Cypress, and Selenium.
• Compose and maintain testing documentation on application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to teams using JIRA.
• Review and validate requirements and technical specifications to determine tests to be automated.
• Execute automated and manual testing of web applications and APIs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software testing methodologies in an agile environment with Selenium, databases, web services, strong networking, and API testing.
• 2+ years of coding experience with Linux and Python.
• Ability to multitask, self-starter, and team player mindset while working alongside the development team.
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and related tools like Ansible, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or relevant work experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of FedRamp and TPN.
