About the position

As part of the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in driving analytics throughout the organization to improve our products, engage better with our customers, create greater efficiencies, and drive new businesses by providing insights into the data. Our data captures the who, what, when, where and why of how our clients use Bloomberg products, how our systems execute, and how our employees engage with our customers. We are responsible for ingesting and preparing massive amounts of data for reporting, dashboards, self-service and advanced analytics. Responsibilities

• Drive analytics throughout the organization to improve products and customer engagement.
• Build robust and scalable systems for handling massive data volumes.
• Assist with analysis, design, and development of an enterprise-level data analytics platform.
• Support the self-service platform and drive the BI community across the firm.
• Develop, architect, standardize, and support technology platforms using leading BI/Reporting solutions.
• Work closely with end users to gather requirements and manage scope.
• Utilize strong data visualization skills to design and architect solutions that drive insights.

Requirements

• Experience in Python, Go, or Java with a focus on CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning for Qlik applications.
• Working knowledge of industry-standard Data Infrastructure tools (e.g., Warehouse, BI, Analytics, Big-Data).
• Proficiency in developing and supporting technology platforms using leading BI/Reporting solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Expert in QlikSense API development (QRS, Qlik Sense Repository Service API, Qlik Sense Proxy Service API).
• Advanced SQL capabilities and dimensional modeling expertise.
• Strong data reporting and visualization experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, IBM Cognos, Business Objects.
• Experience in creating Extension objects using Qlik Capability APIs and QLIK Engine API.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript.
• Understanding of data warehousing methodologies and ETL processing in tools like Informatica.
• Good understanding of network design, configurations, and protocols.
• Understanding of VLDB performance aspects.
