About the position
The Senior Software Engineer position focuses on enhancing the internal policy management system for an insurance company. The role requires a full stack C#/.NET developer with a strong emphasis on backend development, while also engaging in frontend tasks. The position is based in Boston and requires onsite presence twice a week.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to enhance the internal policy management system.
- Code both individually and as part of a team.
- Focus primarily on backend development with some frontend tasks.
- Engage in hands-on coding activities daily.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in .NET Core.
- Strong skills in C# programming.
- Experience with Angular for frontend development.
- Familiarity with AWS for cloud services.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of JavaScript for additional frontend capabilities.
- Experience with Azure cloud services.
