About the position

The position involves collaborating with Epson's parent company to identify, define, and review software requirements for Factory Automation Robotics products. The role includes designing and developing software, providing technical support, and maintaining local area networks and servers related to these products. The candidate will also drive the activities of the software development team at Epson America.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Epson's parent company to identify and define software requirements for Factory Automation Robotics products.
• Design and develop software programs to meet customer requirements within project timelines.
• Develop supporting technical documentation for products.
• Provide advanced technical support for Factory Automation Robotics products.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Factory Automation Robotics local area network and server.
• Interface with technical support teams to resolve advanced customer technical issues.
• Build strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in customer-facing software development.
• Experience with C#, C++, Microsoft Windows, and Linux.
• Experience developing graphical user interfaces.
• Robotics experience is a plus.
• Completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
