About the position

The Senior Software Engineer - Senior Marketing Cloud Developer at Northwell Health is responsible for designing and developing solutions for various problems within a team environment. This role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and the enhancement of product quality through efficient coding and the use of advanced technologies, particularly within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops solutions to various problems either independently or in a team environment.
• Forms technical documents such as a design specification document.
• Utilizes relational databases by integrating data storage solutions.
• Utilizes Azure services such as Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Containers, Cosmos DB, and event hubs.
• Utilizes messaging patterns for system-to-system communication.
• Ensures applications are performing at high capacity, responsiveness, and quality.
• Finds solutions to reduce issues and defects.
• Maintains that the platform's code and data are organized, automated, and of high quality.
• Guides junior team personnel by recommending software design and development opportunities/best practices.
• Operates under limited guidance and works on moderately complex to complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience required.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years experience with the Salesforce platform
• Experience in healthcare preferred
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud highly preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Mulesoft, and Data Cloud preferred.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator Certificate required.
• Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator Certificate and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Certificate preferred.
