This involves building scalable platforms, seamless products, and comprehensive solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing core SMB platforms and features. You will serve as the expert in architecture, technical stack, and engineering practices within the team. Your responsibilities will include managing project priorities, deadlines, deliverables, and quality, as well as maintaining delivered features and systems. You will tackle open-ended problems, develop and operate large distributed systems, and collaborate cross-functionally and globally. Responsibilities

• Design and implement core SMB platforms and features.
• Be the expert and go-to person for architecture, technical stack, and engineering practices in the team.
• Deliver projects on time, managing priorities, deadlines, deliverables, and quality.
• Maintain delivered features and systems.
• Take open-ended problems and create solutions within constraints.
• Develop, deploy, optimize, troubleshoot, and operate large distributed systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to think critically and formulate clear and concise solutions.
• Strong teamwork skills including communication, ownership, empathy, and honesty.
• Proven record of participating in or leading highly-scaled software architectures and systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in advertising, e-commerce, and video industries.
• Experience with recommendation engines, machine learning, data analysis, domain-driven design, and complex infrastructure.
