About the position

XPeng Motors is seeking a Senior Tools and DevOps Software Engineer to enhance the productivity of the autonomy development team and improve continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. This role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing software solutions that meet business needs while deploying new development tools to streamline workflows and provide insights into engineering systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, architect, design and implement software solutions to meet business needs.
• Deploy new development tools to improve development productivity and streamline the continuous development process.
• Develop scripts and dashboards that provide insight into engineering systems.
• Work on pipelines and toolchains, debug and resolve issues in all environments including production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM major.
• 5+ years of experience with Python and Go or other high-level modern programming languages.
• 5+ years of experience with version control tools such as Git, Git workflow, and Jenkins or other similar CI/CD tools.
• 2+ years of experience with build systems such as CMake and Bazel.
• 4+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with C++ is a plus.
