About the position

The Senior Software Engineer will play a crucial role in modernizing legacy mainframe and desktop applications that support the credit card transaction industry. This position involves designing and implementing new features and system designs for an existing enterprise SaaS suite of tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of network operations teams. The role is fully remote and requires collaboration with a distributed team of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for legacy applications.
• Modernize existing enterprise SaaS tools used in credit card transaction processing.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain products built on Windows GUIs in MFC, z/OS, and TCP/IP.
• Collaborate with remote teams using MS Teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in C++ and MFC.
• Experience with z/OS Assembler or z/OS REXX.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP protocol and multi-threading.
• Experience with GUI unit testing.
• Knowledge of storage management.
• Strong, reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Experience working with remote teams.
