About the position

The Senior Software Engineer at Endotronix is a pivotal role focused on developing innovative software solutions for the medical device industry, specifically aimed at transforming heart failure treatment. This position involves engaging with stakeholders, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality code development while participating in system architecture and project estimations. The role is hybrid, based in Naperville, Illinois, and requires a strong background in full-stack development and experience with CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with key business stakeholders to understand business problems and communicate architectural strategies.
• Take ownership of code reviews to ensure scalability and reusability across applications.
• Mentor and guide the software development team in best coding practices.
• Participate in project estimations and system architecture design decisions.
• Assist in automating the build pipeline to enhance DevOps and CI/CD processes.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in software development using .NET Core, Angular, Python, React Native, Java (Android Studio), GraphQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
• Experience with full stack development and database technologies including DynamoDB, Postgres, Redis, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to collaborate closely with product, engineering, and design teams.
• Experience working on Agile Scrum teams and understanding of system flow charts and data processing concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS services and Cloud Architecture.
• Experience with REST, microservices architectures, and containerization.
• Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect or other cloud-related certifications.
• Experience with Datadog, SonarQube, Snyk, and Azure DevOps CI/CD including pipeline automation.
• Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry.
