About the position

Material Bank is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their innovative team in Boca Raton, Florida. This role focuses on developing critical internal applications using modern technologies such as Python, Golang, and PHP, while also designing scalable microservices architectures and managing cloud infrastructure. The position offers the opportunity to significantly impact business processes through application development and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of internal applications, including lead generation tools, billing engines, and system integrations using Python, Golang, and PHP.
• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures to enhance application flexibility.
• Utilize AWS for hosting, deployment, and efficient management of applications, building and managing infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain robust REST APIs or GRPC for seamless integration between different systems and services.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for effective data storage and retrieval.
• Employ frameworks such as Echo/FastAPI/ReactJS for rapid development of web applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and develop solutions that align with company goals.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to improve development practices and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in software development, with significant full stack development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, PHP, and JavaScript, with experience in microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge in PostgreSQL database management.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Windows on-premise technologies.
• Experience with Magento.
