About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology team. This role involves working on the Enrollments team, focusing on applications that support the onboarding and maintenance of customers to Treasury Management Products. The position encompasses responsibilities such as design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of software systems and products.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 4+ years Advanced Java
• 2+ years Cloud ready API development experience
• 3+ years development experience in Event-based application using MQ or Kafka technologies
• 3+ years Springboot Java Microservices development experience
• 3+ years working in Agile software engineering and CI/CD environment
• 2+ years of MongoDB experience or another NoSQL Database
• 2+ years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience
• 1+ years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

Nice-to-haves

• 1+ years of React UI Development experience
• 1+ years developing Karate tests
• 1+ years developing components using Reactive Programming Design
• Experience in developing applications on Treasury Management products such as Cash Vault, Lockbox and Return Items
• Experience with Banking domain
