About the position
The position involves the definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions. The role requires systems analysis, creation of specifications, coding, testing, and implementation of application programs and data interfaces, ensuring that application designs are consistent with industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and construct reliable software solutions.
- Integrate and test application programs and data interfaces.
- Conduct systems analysis and create specifications for applications.
- Ensure application designs are scalable, available, maintainable, and flexible.
- Support and maintain existing applications.
Requirements
- At least eight years of experience in technical design and application development.
- Extensive experience in Web Services, Spring, and Hibernate.
- Proficiency in UML Modeling Tool, Eclipse IDE, and Visio.
- Experience with XMLSpy and tools for WSDL, XSD, XPATH, and XQUERY management.
- Familiarity with JUNIT, SOAPUI, and Web Service Test Tools.
- Knowledge of Ant and Clearcase or similar software configuration and versioning tools.
Nice-to-haves
- Sun certification in Java programming/developing.
- Oracle (Weblogic) SOA Suite certification.
- Experience in application resiliency and performance testing with Java and Spring framework.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
