About the position
Home From College is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Engineering team. In this role, you will be the most responsible for a variety of technical projects both back end and front end. All projects you will be working on will directly contribute to the overall goals of Home From College. You will be working with a team of Software Engineers and Product Designers.
Responsibilities
- Independent contributions to technical build towards the HFC GIG marketplace platform
- Existing product improvements, enhancements and QA
- Contributions towards the new HFC User Data, Matching and Recommendations
- Making data driven decisions and AB testing user behavior
- Front End product development
- Back End infrastructure development
- Collaborating with a team of software engineers and product designers
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in software development
- Must be well versed in both Front End and Back End software engineering
- Must be well versed in large data sets, data cleansing, and using data to improve product experience
- Interested in AI and has experience working with open source AI platforms
- Must be passionate about building and improving products and features
- Must work well as part of a team of engineers, sales professionals and senior management
