About the position
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing features, analyzing field issues, and creating automated tests. This role involves performing unit, integration, and system testing, as well as managing relationships with key customer contacts to ensure project success. The engineer will also handle customer data assessments, software configurations, and provide training on software functions that support customer workflows. As a subject matter expert, the engineer will act as the primary contact for the Verity program, determining necessary product and technical resources, and collaborating with the sales team regarding implementation expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop features and analyze field issues.
- Develop automated tests and perform unit, integration, and system testing.
- Manage relationships with customer key project contacts to develop project approach and success factors.
- Manage customer data assessment and extract setups, wholesaler integration, and software configurations.
- Provide training on software functions that support customer workflow.
- Act as the subject matter expert as the primary Verity program contact, including determining product and tech resources.
- Work with the sales team regarding sales expectations and key facts in implementation.
- Facilitate communications and software demos with customers and Verity stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Management.
- 2 years of experience in healthcare software development.
- 1 year of experience in healthcare data analytics.
