About the position

The Senior Software Engineering & Test Technical Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is responsible for leading a technical team in the integration, delivery, and validation of High Performance Compute (HPC) system solutions. This remote position requires a solid understanding of complex systems and the ability to manage and mentor engineers while ensuring that products meet customer requirements for performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, manage, and retain teams of talented engineers.
  • Mentor engineers and lead by example.
  • Embrace a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with HPE product and engineering leadership to deliver products to customers.
  • Navigate the organization to unblock the team and ensure timely delivery.
  • Drive the adoption of new best practices in the engineering organization.
  • Engage and collaborate with technology partners and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in delivering enterprise or at-scale software.
  • Experience leading or managing software development teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
  • Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
  • Experience in testing system solutions.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand and embrace forms and processes for automated software delivery.
