About the position

The Senior Software Integration Engineer will design, develop, and deliver an integration environment that supports AI engineers and Data Scientists/Analysts. This role is crucial for enabling commercial components to function seamlessly within a firewalled environment, directly impacting the efficiency of analysts. Post-project, the engineer will collaborate with the HPC Engineering Team to transition software and code for user delivery on advanced GPU and CPU clustered fabrics.

Responsibilities

• Integrate a commercial data science environment for publishing custom packages and executing jobs in a firewalled environment.
• Deliver the integration system successfully, requiring developer and system administration skills.
• Collaborate with users, cloud service providers, and engineering teams to ensure project success.
• Transition software and code into the environment for delivery to users after the initial project completion.
• Maintain the integration environment and take on responsibilities related to AI, ML, and Scientific Computing.

Requirements

• Expertise in operating and administering Linux environments as a developer.
• Cloud experience, specifically with AWS.
• Senior software development skills.
• Mastery of scripting and programming languages such as Java, Bash, and Python.
• Ability to troubleshoot and implement solutions for technical network issues.
• Experience working independently with minimal guidance.
• Comfortable working directly with users and briefing clients on project status.
• Experience in documenting requirements, code, briefings, and status updates.
• Agile development experience.
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools.
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of security compliance risk assessment and mitigation.
• A degree in a related field or equivalent experience in software development and delivery.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
