About the position

The Software Development Engineer position within the AWS Solutions organization focuses on innovating and developing Amazon Connect, a cloud-based contact center service. This role involves end-to-end ownership of code, collaboration with senior technical leaders, and leveraging modern technologies to enhance customer service experiences. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing business and shape the technology and product as it evolves.

Responsibilities

• Own code end-to-end from design to development.
• Work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS.
• Innovate on the Amazon Connect service to meet customer needs.
• Utilize modern web technologies, SOA, NoSQL databases, and MicroServices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
