About the position

The Senior Software QA Automation Engineer will join the Apple Service Engineering QA Team, focusing on the App Review Tool, which is essential to the App ecosystem. This role involves automating features, conducting functional testing for client/server flows, and ensuring high-quality standards. The engineer will also train internal and external teams on the products, contributing to a fast-growing marketplace for various digital content.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing and automate client/server applications.
• Analyze system and application level logs to diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engineering teams to replicate issues.
• Plan, design, maintain, and execute test cases with minimal supervision.
• Automate client-side applications and ensure their functionality with new features.
• Take ownership of assigned components and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate progress and risks effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
• Strong understanding of client/server interactions and functional testing.
• Ability to analyze logs and diagnose issues effectively.
• Excellent bug reporting skills and clear communication with developers.
• Proactive and capable of working independently on projects.
