About the position

The Emerging Technologies Quality Engineering (QE) team at Apple is focused on ensuring high-quality releases for a variety of platforms. This role involves working on scalable platforms and applications, including API and website testing, automation tools, and improving the Quality Engineering process. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions that impact billions of customers globally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct API testing and website testing to ensure quality standards are met.
• Build test tools and automation platforms to enhance testing efficiency.
• Continuously improve the Quality Engineering process through innovative practices.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to implement test automation in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a strong emphasis on test automation.
• Demonstrated experience with API and Web UI test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Gauge, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
• Proficiency in QE automation architecture, methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases, Linux, and object-oriented programming.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced knowledge of creating Quality automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Behavior Driven Frameworks (BDD).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
• Experience with continuous deployment systems using Maven, GIT, Spinnaker, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of security domains including PKI, Certificates, Cryptography, OWASP & ModSecurity.
