About the position

The Senior Software QA Engineer for UI Frameworks at Apple Vision Pro is responsible for ensuring the quality of user experiences in a revolutionary spatial computing environment. This role involves extensive hands-on functional testing, developing test plans, and collaborating closely with development engineers to shape the quality of software products. The engineer will act as the voice of the end-users, driving quality through testing and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support testing of multiple features and drive quality through hands-on functional testing of user-facing features and systems.
• Develop test plans and user studies to ensure robust product quality.
• Participate in bug triaging and support design reviews to enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with the Automation team to prioritize and expedite automation initiatives.
• Actively shape the quality of software by integrating deeply with development engineers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance engineering, particularly in testing user-facing features.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Ability to develop comprehensive test plans and conduct user studies.
• Experience in bug triaging and supporting design reviews.
• Familiarity with automation testing and tools.
