Stellantis Financial Services (SFS) is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and reliability of our software products by developing and implementing comprehensive test plans. The Senior Software QA Engineer will work closely with the Test Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, report, and resolve defects or issues, ensuring that our software solutions meet the highest quality standards. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing detailed test plans and cases for software applications, ensuring thorough coverage and maintenance. You will collaborate with Quality Assurance Engineers to conduct extensive functionality testing at all stages of the software development lifecycle. Executing detailed test cases and documenting results will be essential to confirm software quality and functionality. Additionally, you will conduct peer reviews of test cases to ensure clarity and comprehensive requirement coverage. You will work with various teams, including developers, product owners, and project managers, to uphold software quality standards. Performing regression testing to verify software stability and performance will be a key responsibility, along with developing automation suites to streamline this process. Your expertise will support the deployment and release process, ensuring smooth and reliable software releases. Continuous refinement of testing strategies and methodologies will be expected to improve efficiency and test effectiveness. You will also proactively identify and address potential project risks, enhancing project success and stability. Effective project management skills will be necessary as you coordinate with both local and remote teams, and you should be prepared to undertake additional responsibilities as needed. Note that this position may require working nights and weekends for deployments.
