About the position

The Senior Software/System Architect (ServiceNow) at TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is responsible for resolving complex production problems, monitoring system performance, and mentoring other system administrators. This role involves working with ServiceNow technologies and requires extensive experience in system administration and software integration. The architect will also evaluate and design software applications, ensuring they meet technical specifications and function effectively within the system.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze and resolve complex production problems related to the operating system and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) software.
• Monitor performance, recommend improvements, and evaluate hardware and software operations.
• Test and QA new releases of IBM or equivalent-provided maintenance for components of the Mainframe Operating System.
• Work with the Service Now System Admin & Developer to deploy Service Now Integration Hub, Flow Designer and SFTP Spokes technologies.
• Mentor other Service Now System Administrators on the configuration of Service Now technologies.
• Act as a Sr. Middleware Architect to evaluate and design software applications and integrate them into a functioning system.
• Determine the technical specifications of a project, creating technical blueprints and editing code.
• Document and record every aspect of an application or software and train and oversee the development team.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience working with Service Now Integration Hub, Flow Designer and SFTP Spokes.
• Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience with Service Now administration.
• Demonstrated ability with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, CMDB and knowledge management applications.
• Extensive experience with System Administrator responsibilities and product installations.
• Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
• Masters Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline and 10 years experience.

• Flow Designer, Certificate Auth on linux/unix (using certificate to connect via ssh)
