About the position

The Senior Software Tester will be a key member of the Software Development Team at Mueller, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions in intelligent water management systems. This role involves writing test plans, creating automated tests, and collaborating with team members to enhance software quality and delivery. The position offers flexibility with remote work options and emphasizes a culture of excellence and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Write well-structured test plans and scripts.
• Review and provide feedback on feature requirements.
• Create and maintain automated tests.
• Reproduce and report software issues.
• Produce professionally written documentation.
• Provide sensible estimates for work items and consistently deliver against them.
• Ensure software releases are of high quality and meet requirements.
• Help facilitate the smooth delivery of all projects, enhancements, and support delivered by the team.
• Participate in the team's agile software development process.
• Contribute to discussions regarding internal process and system improvements.
• Develop strong working relationships with other departments and customers.
• Provide mentoring to more junior team members.
• Be available ‘out of hours' if required to complete specific tasks and support customers.

Requirements

• Highly proficient in testing Web Application and Web API with strong experience in test automation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computing or scientific/engineering discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• 5+ years of test experience in automated and manual Web Application and Web API testing.
• Experience in Test Plan and Test Script creation and maintenance.
• Defect reproduction and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Test methodologies.
• Experience with Test tools and automation frameworks.
• C# knowledge.
• Knowledge of Page Object Pattern.
