About the position
The Senior Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) plays a crucial role in partnering with customers to design and implement scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures. This position focuses on educating and advising organizations on best practices for cloud-based solutions and strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud. The role involves collaborating with AWS Sales and other teams to drive successful business outcomes for enterprise customers, leveraging AWS resources and partner networks.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable cloud architectures for enterprise customers.
- Advise organizations on best practices for cloud-based solutions.
- Provide strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud.
- Collaborate with AWS Sales and other teams to address customer business challenges.
- Mobilize resources within AWS and work with partner networks to drive AWS adoption.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
- Experience working with end user or developer communities.
