About the position

The Senior Solutions Architect - Applications at Helen of Troy plays a crucial role in enhancing and modernizing enterprise business applications. This position involves collaborating with the IT Application team to develop, implement, and support various applications, particularly in supply chain planning and ERP systems. The architect will analyze business requirements, orchestrate modernization efforts, and ensure seamless integration of technology solutions to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Work with the IT Application team to develop and maintain enterprise business applications.
• Drive the implementation and modernization of enterprise applications such as Supply Chain Planning solutions and ERP systems.
• Analyze business requirements and system integration considerations to propose technology solutions.
• Orchestrate systems modernization efforts and analyze various initiatives around core enterprise applications.
• Serve as a project coordinator to schedule and delegate tasks for company initiatives.
• Collaborate with department heads to establish project milestones and ensure effective project completion within budget.
• Gather and analyze detailed business requirements from various partners.
• Develop comprehensive business process models detailing current and future state processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
• Design and document application solutions that align with business objectives and technical constraints.
• Collaborate with technical teams for seamless integration with existing systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, including developers and functional consultants.
• Coordinate the implementation of application modernization projects with project management.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues.
• Develop a roadmap for ERP and other enterprise technology deployment with business function leaders.
• Maintain updated process maps and system architecture with changing business processes and new functionalities.
• Advise on the best technical architecture to meet end-user requirements and functional specifications.
• Ensure consistency on projects and user requests, exceeding specifications and user expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent field.
• 10+ years of relevant business experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience with Oracle ERP solutions, particularly E-Business Suite and Fusion Cloud Applications.
• Experience deploying Supply Chain Planning systems such as Demantra, ASCP, or o9 systems.
• 5+ years as a Solution Architect for large-scale, cross-pillar Oracle ERP implementations.
• Knowledge of integration technologies and cloud platforms.
• Experience in process mapping and analysis.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice-to-haves

• Solid grasp of business applications with proven ability in at least two tracks: supply chain, planning, manufacturing, accounting, or FP&A.
• Ability to translate sophisticated business requirements into technical specifications.
