Come build what's next with us! Amazon Buy with Prime (BwP) and Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) are looking for a strong leader to help us continue to build our e-commerce and supply chain solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated Solution Architect to join our team. You will be the trusted partner working shoulder to shoulder with our customers and advising them on how to best achieve performance at scale. The role requires deep technical expertise, a strong sense of technical evangelism, and a relentless commitment to long term customer outcomes. You will be expected to quickly understand technical architectures, research, build, and deliver proof of concept solutions to pattern and guide and shape the customer journey. You should be a passionate tinkerer, and be able to dive deep, speaking to builder patterns and practices with fluency. The ability to build repeatable artifacts, and assess deliverables as a force multiplier is a critical skill for the Solution Architect role. You should have a demonstrated ability to think about business challenges and articulate technical solutions to solve those problems. As part of the SA community you will capture and share best practices with your peers, generate internal and external technical content, and participate in evangelist and workshop activities to grow the community.
Responsibilities
- Work shoulder to shoulder with customers to advise on achieving performance at scale.
- Understand technical architectures and deliver proof of concept solutions.
- Build repeatable artifacts and assess deliverables.
- Capture and share best practices with peers.
- Generate internal and external technical content.
- Participate in evangelist and workshop activities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
- Strong background in AWS Services.
- Demonstrated technical excellence in building scalable architectures.
- Deep understanding of Software Development.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
- Experience working with end user or developer communities.
- Passionate about developing peers and participating in hiring.
