About the position

The AWS Solutions Architect team is dedicated to partnering with customers to design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted customer advocate, helping organizations understand best practices for advanced cloud-based solutions and advising on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud. Your role will involve driving successful business outcomes across a diverse set of enterprise customers, fueled by your passion for educating, training, designing, and building cloud solutions. In this position, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute strategies that promote deep adoption and broad use of AWS services within your enterprise customers. This will involve mobilizing resources within AWS and collaborating with our extensive partner network to ensure that customers are leveraging AWS to its fullest potential. You will work closely with AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) to drive revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including those in the public sector. Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Advise organizations on best practices for advanced cloud-based solutions and strategies for migrating workloads to the cloud.
  • Drive successful business outcomes by educating and training customers on AWS services.
  • Collaborate with AWS Sales and other teams to address customer business challenges and accelerate AWS service adoption.
  • Shape and execute strategies to promote deep adoption and broad use of AWS within enterprise customers.
  • Mobilize resources within AWS and work with partner networks to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction across internal and external organizations.
  • Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry.
