About the position

The Solutions Architect role at NVIDIA focuses on developing accelerated computing networking solutions for AI/ML and HPC on hyperscalers. This position involves working closely with strategic customers to provide technical expertise and support for both hardware and software solutions, aligning with NVIDIA's product strategy. The role requires collaboration with sales and developer relations teams to identify business opportunities and deliver technical content to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and demonstrate solutions based on NVIDIA's software and hardware technologies.
  • Help customers debug issues and lead feature request processes.
  • Coordinate the co-engineering program with customers.
  • Partner with Sales Account Managers and Developer Relations Managers to identify business opportunities.
  • Act as the go-to technical resource for customers building AI infrastructure.
  • Build Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for solutions addressing critical business needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical content including presentations and workshops.
  • Analyze and develop solutions for customer performance issues.

Requirements

  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience in performance/system/solution.
  • Expertise in dense datacenter design including networking, compute, and storage.
  • Familiarity with Cloud and hybrid cloud networking.
  • Experience with Ethernet L2-L7 networking protocol stack.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a multifaceted environment.
  • Clear written and oral communication skills for collaboration with executives and engineering teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Ethernet Switch software solutions and data center production networks.
  • Extensive experience with RDMA/RoCE and NICs.
  • Hands-on experience with GPU and Networking systems including performance testing/tuning and benchmarking.
  • Strong systems engineering, coding, and debugging skills, including experience with Python, Ansible, Go, C/C++, Bash, Linux, and Windows.
  • Experience with DPDK, IP Sec, HPC, Cloud Native Projects, Kubernetes, and Slurm for enabling GPU workloads.
