About The Position

The Senior Solutions Architect - Security at Sirius Computer Solutions, a CDW company, is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities. This position is designed for a pre-sales technologist who acts as a value-added advocate for Sirius clients, focusing on security solutions. The architect will engage with designated accounts to understand their business requirements related to security, qualify opportunities, and create tailored designs that align with the clients' needs. This role is not only about technical knowledge but also about building strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring that the solutions proposed are not only effective but also profitable for Sirius. In this role, the Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for developing presales collateral, which includes Letters of Understanding (LOUs), High-Level Designs (HLDs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), Product Quotes, Level of Efforts (LOEs), Client Proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs). The architect will collaborate with other Line of Business (LOB) experts to address client needs, present proposed solutions, and oversee the delivery of these solutions while maximizing profit margins. A key aspect of this position is to maintain healthy relationships with key business partners, including OEMs, subcontractors, and service providers, within the assigned districts and regions. The Senior Solutions Architect - Security is expected to have deep subject matter expertise in security solutions and a generalized understanding of adjacent technology solutions. This role requires the ability to advise clients on integrating various security domains, assess security risks, and propose remediation strategies. The architect will also be involved in developing high-level designs and architectures that address client business problems, ensuring a smooth transition from presales to delivery. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for sales planning, consulting on significant client projects, and contributing to the development of Sirius's intellectual property and industry recognition through white papers and speaking engagements.
